Looking at the industry in general and seeing the opportunity to do a lot of good for the community around us on so many different levels that other companies haven’t quite tapped into yet.
I have been in the plumbing industry for about 8 years, and in the trades for about a decade. What led me to specialize in plumbing was the opportunity I was presented to be an apprentice and I fell in love with the trade. I saw the potential to make a huge difference in people’s lives and the impact to build a better future for future generations of plumbers and the communities we impact.
We are here for the people in every sense of the word. No matter what income bracket they fall in, no matter what walk of life they are in, we will do our best to ensure that they find the best solution that fits their budget and their lifestyle while being as environmentally conscious as possible. The transparency, honesty, and integrity behind our work and everything we do at every level of the company is what sets us apart. The other thing that sets us apart is that our goal as a company is to leave a positive impact on our community in every way that we can. We will accomplish this by volunteering our services to those in need and donating to various charities. When our staff is long and retired, we want to be sure our community is still impacted by the efforts our company made. Lastly, our company is a family first company, we structure the company to where our staff, leadership, and affiliates can spend as much time with their families as possible which is why we do not offer 24 hour emergency services or weekend services.
Transparency: There’s no secrets or gimmicks. Our pricing, work scope, and practices can be questioned at any time and we are more than happy to answer any questions the customer may have.
Honesty: We understand that being human means we are all imperfect and mistakes are bound to happen. Our commitment to our customers and our community is that no matter what happens we will take 100% ownership of what we do and work we have done, even if mistakes have been made.
Integrity: Compounding with the other 2 values, our commitment to our community and our customers is to do the right thing no matter the walk of life, position, or economic status of any clientele whether residential or commercial.
We are always looking to improve so we stay in touch with local and state plumbing instructors, as well as keeping up to speed with local technical programs to ensure we have a firm grasp on the ever changing world of technology in relation to plumbing and the trades. We also stay in touch with manufacturers of products we love to ensure we are getting the most up to date information.
I enjoy the diversity of work scope and clientele in plumbing. The thing I love most about being a business owner is networking with other businesses so that more opportunities are available to impact our community.
Know where your homeowner shut off valve is in the event that a leak or something occurs so that you can shut it off and contact a plumber and know where your main sewer cleanout is in the event that you have a stoppage so you can tell the plumber exactly where it is.
Not yet but there are many in the works!
Communication. At the end of every call we ask the customer and if they are not satisfied with the service we provided then we stay there and do whatever needs to be done to the satisfaction of the customer because at Sasquatch Trade Services we value long term relationships with our customers over short term transactions.
Seeing the impact we can have on a community and how much we can improve people’s lives just by doing what we do best.
I get up, take care of my family, and then I go solve plumbing problems and impact people’s lives in my community, then I return back to my family because they are just as important as my mission.
One of the hardest things for the industry is to change the way we do things to accommodate for the younger generation of plumbers entering the trade. One of the things we do not realize is the trades are always one generation away from disappearing if we do not welcome the next generation with open arms and willingness to teach them.
To better the community that we live in, and for that impact to last beyond the retirement of the company, but to also build a happy and healthy place to work for generations to come in a trade that will not go away so that people can provide for their families.
Shortages of people to do the work. We are preparing for that by promoting the trade in high schools and community colleges to educate people about the benefits of becoming a plumber and working in the trades. Another challenge is people leaving the trade and we are going to combat that by working on our leadership skills and providing a better and healthier work environment so that our employees truly enjoy coming to work every day.
I started plumbing around 2007 when I got a job with Rebath. I worked with them for about 7 years and then started building home additions with my father in law. About a year in he asked if i could help a friend of ours start a plumbing company (G3 Plumbing)…i said sure! From then on I was hooked. Watching a building go from just bare dirt to fully functioning is a beautiful process and I don’t see myself doing anything else.

I enjoy meeting new customers, I love taking pride in my work as a plumber, and I enjoy the ability to train new plumbers in the trade
Through the TSBPE website and continuing education classes that are required by the Texas State Board
Patience is a huge thing for me. I try to understand and remember what it was like as a new apprentice plumber.
My advice is…look at the big picture and not the temporary fix. If we can solve the bigger issues the plumbing system will last a lot longer.
As our mission statement says we are plumbing with a purpose…we want to solve your issues, get to know you and your family and find the most cost effective solutions for any and all of your plumbing needs. We also offer full service solutions such as drywall repairs, wood/metal repairs and painting.
We do field training with hands-on aspects and supervision until we feel comfortable with the employees’ interaction with the customer. Continuing education on customer relations is always a part of the conversation
I plead the 5th (5)(fif)(1,2,3,4…fif)
My master apprentice Andrew will be happy to answer that
My motivation comes from and through my family. I was always taught to be better and work hard so that’s what I do. I also want my customers to feel like the job they get is complete and thorough.
I’d love to say I know everything but in the issues that require more than one opinion I go to the other master plumbers I know to get advice. The way to know the issue is solved is actively testing every part of the system to ensure a complete repair.
My reward is building a strong group of professionals and giving them the opportunities I had and more coming up in the trade.
